| Just the figure on the bonnet is enough to convince many people that this is the most exclusive form of road transport. The Phantom is packed with high technology and outstanding build quality - everything from the hand-stitched leather to the umbrella stored inside the rear-door says class. A 12-cylinder, 6.75-litre engine provides masses of power but you will need to fill the 100-litre fuel tank to the brim to cover just 400 miles! Only the £243,000 Mercedes-Benz Maybach offers any serious competition at this price - it somehow boasts more standard equipment, but lacks the presence or ambience of the Phantom. |
